Kinetic Resonances: Resonant Bodies Master Class

Ximena Garnica and Shige Moriya hosted two “Resonant Bodies” master classes to celebrate bringing their in-progress work Kinetic Resonances to Chelsea Factory.

Each two-hour class was open to anyone curious about movement, imagination and transformation as a state of being. Participants were exposed to aspects of the LEIMAY LUDUS —the underlying methodology of Ximena Garnica, Shige Moriya and the LEIMAY Ensemble’s movement practice— and had the opportunity to interact with the kinetic sculptures that are a part of their durational performance installation Kinetic Resonances.
